A qualified and accomplished auditing professional with 30+ years of experience in Safety & Compliance within the transport and logistics, raw materials, allied health, telecommunications and warehousing / FMCG industries.
Leanna has always been an advocate for women in the transport industry and was one of the founding Board members who in 1999 formed Transport Women Australia with the aim of giving women a voice to be heard. TWAL tested boundaries and spoke about issues that had not been spoken about as well as creating avenues of development and opportunities for young women in the industry.
Leanna is referred to as an empathetic leader with strong communication skills and a passion for building high performing teams in addition to being an expert in unravelling complex issues, undertaking investigations and establishing detailed plans to move forward for varying sized organisations. A focus on “getting things done,” Leanna values working with multiple stakeholders and creating strong relationships.
Leanna has a husband, Rob, and 2 adult children, Samantha and James. Samantha is a physiotherapist and James is studying Primary Teaching focusing on sport and exercise. The family is involved in community—Surf Lifesaving, Calisthenics and Basketball. When the family schedule permits, time is spent at Inverloch.
