Sudha has worked across the mental health continuum and has delivered effective training for various organisations including Government Departments, the NGO sector, private businesses and within tertiary education.
Having lived and worked in rural and remote communities for over 20 years, she understands some of the specific challenges which people encounter in these settings. She has worked extensively alongside first nation communities in the Kimberley, Western Australia and the ‘Top End’ Communities of the Northern Territory.
She is skilled in contextualising all training to meet the needs of participants and has experience in delivering training to individuals who have English as a second language. Sudha loves diving into the richness of stories. She believes that through sharing these we learn how to navigate our lives. Her training room comes alive with stories.
Sudha is a strong believer in everyone having skills and knowledge, and as a trainer invites these into the room to weave with the skills and knowledge she brings to the training. Her aim is for participants to walk away from training feeling more willing and able to support the mental health and wellbeing of the people they live, love and work with.
