Mark is a seasoned health and safety professional with over 25 years’ experience in Risk Management, Leadership Engagement, Organisational Culture and Training and Development at an Operational and Corporate level. A dynamic leader, Mark specialises in making safety and leadership personal, engaging the hearts and minds of individuals and teams, whilst emphasising a process-driven approach to organisational change. Highly adept in problem-solving, Mark is passionate about working with people to find innovative yet practical solutions to improve Operational and Management systems performance.

Mark has broad reaching experience across a wide range of industries – union and non-unionised – including food and heavy manufacturing, finance, retail, health, supply chain and transport. Whilst operating within these industries Mark has extensive experience in strategic design, developing and implementing systems, hazard management, leadership development.

In addition, Mark’s range of technical skills are broad, including areas such as traffic management, plant, manual handling, fatigue, mental health and wellbeing, incident investigation, auditing, self-insurance expertise and IT safety integration.

Mark’s practical experience in safety leadership is enhanced with qualifications in safety, facilitation, training, auditing, investigation and is an Accredited Mental Health First Aider. Mark has embraced flexible work opportunities and resides in the Riverina with his family, and his adventurous and inquisitive nature drives his interest in adventure travel and volunteering.

Mark is also active in several not for profits including Black Dog Ride (Advisory Board Member), Movember (14-year member and fundraiser) and Albury Wodonga Cancer Trust (Ambassador).
